The Phoenix Project is a novel about IT. That was enough for me to get all of my attention. Describing today’s challenges and DevOps practices it’s a brilliant and original idea! I’m even more convinced after reading this book, I’ve also discovered that the authors have been inspired by “The Goal” by Eliyahu M. Goldratt.
The Practice of System and Network Administration (Third Edition) : Book Review
A few months ago, I read so many positive reviews on this book that I immediately purchased it.
I’ve always found it quite difficult to describe my job and role to other colleagues or friends and sometimes unsure that really understand it properly.
It’s such a broad set of roles and responsibilities that can be implicitly assigned or summarised into one depending on the company, by the size of the team and experience that I prefer to generalise as much as I can and be funny/ironic about it.
