I really like to read books that have a subject that covers a lot of ground and where the implications or conclusions are not defined or obvious.
This book “Art of System Thinking” can be considered a Primer on System Thinking it’s very short and effective, but in some way, it doesn’t meet my expectations.
Probably part of the cause is the title “Improve Your Logic, Think More Critically, And Use Proven Systems To Solve Your Problems – Strategic Planning For Everyday Life“, because the book talks more about what problem can be solved with or by system thinking, but not really how to do it or diving into the theory of System Thinking.
What I take from this book are the examples, that show the potential of System Thinking and the motivation to find a better one. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve found this book interesting and inspiring, maybe in a couple of years I’ll read it again and I’ll change my mind.
I’ll definitely read more on this topic and I’ve got already one of those on my list, but I’ve got a handful of books to read before it.
In the meantime enjoy this book and continue to improve your System Thinking!
