Scripting Library is a collection of scripts and experiences created and maintained by Paolo Frigo with and for IT Pros, Developers, DevOps and Geeks across Linux and Windows OS with BaSH, PowerShell and Python from all over the world.
When is it started?
I’ve started this website at the end of 2017 with the aim of sharing my passion and helping other IT folks to grow, practice, and develop their skills. The happy accident is that helped me to be more aware of my limits on various subjects and kept pushing me to work on my weaknesses and motivating me to study more.
Why it’s mainly BaSH, PYTHON, and PowerShell?
Why not? In fact, both are open-source and available under Windows and Linux or Mac.
PowerShell is opensource and available under Linux since August 2016. If you want to know more about it, I suggest you read this post written by Jeffrey Snover.
BaSH is available also on Windows since July 2016, under the name of Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
PYTHON is my favorite programming language, it’s multiplatform and open source adapt from nearly every type of implementation from web development to data science.
